Taking a break from housework, laundry and listing for a walk on the beach. This is our local ocean beach, just a five minute drive, 20 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride away. Today we drove. There is a play ground, life saver watch tower, showers/toilets and about 1000m of sand, with rocks at both ends. Not many people, and a couple of dogs. No leads needed under the high tide mark.
